Karl Lungmus is a young songwriter and producer based out of Nashville, TN. With a major in commercial guitar and a songwriting emphasis, Karl has been playing in the studio and on stage for Nashville songwriters and churches since 2015.Â
Born and raised in Chicago, Karl was brought to his love of music through his church family and love of the Beatles. Within his college years, he lead a Christian band, Adelphos, which released a six-song EP in 2016, entirely written by Karl Lungmus. This band traveled around the Nashville and middle Tennessee area playing for various congregations. In 2017, Karl finished a solo project under the stage name Augie. This album, Chicago Rain, was completely written, recorded, and produced by Karl Lungmus. All instruments and vocals on the album with the exception of saxophone are Karl Lungmus. In recent years, Karl has been playing, writing and recording with various Nashville songwriters and artists.
